About Us

I am Yuki Tochihara, a breast milk jewelry artist.

I am a mother of two children, a son and a daughter. I moved from Sakai, Osaka, to Brisbane, Australia, where I spent twelve years.

I originally visited Australia to relax after being exhausted from work. I had planned to stay for only six months, but I quickly fell in love with the country's vast nature and the slower pace of life. Before I knew it, I had become enamored with the place so much, so that I became a student there and studied business.

Then I met my husband, and everything fell into place, leading to a swift marriage. The following year, I gave birth to my eldest son, and we decided to make Australia our permanent home.

I encountered breast milk jewelry in 2014, the year after my son was born. A friend showed me some for the first time, and I was immediately stunned by the beauty of the jewelry made from breast milk. The idea that such beautiful pieces were created from a symbol of motherhood, breast milk, took me by surprise.

I was instantly captivated by the charm and beauty of breast milk jewelry. I thought, "I want one too!" When I looked into it, I found that there was a four-month wait. I really wanted one "now." So, I decided to try making one myself.

However, the result was a complete failure. The beautiful, white breast milk quickly turned yellow and discolored, becoming something that could hardly be called jewelry.

Despite multiple attempts, my efforts to make breast milk jewelry were unsuccessful, and just as I was about to give up, a woman approached me at my son's HIP HOP school. She told me that a breast milk jewelry academy was going to be opening.

Although we were not particularly close at the time, I was incredibly grateful for this serendipitous encounter. I felt it was fate. Thanks to this conversation, I enrolled in the academy. There, I found the answers I had been searching for. I learned so much, and I was finally able to create the beautiful, white breast milk jewelry that had fascinated me.

Soon after, the presence of breast milk jewelry spread within my son's school and the local community. During the busy years of raising children, I only accepted few orders and started creating and selling jewelry.

This experience strengthened our desire to create breast milk jewelry for Japanese mothers as well.

~Present~

We receive many letters and emails from everyone. My joy comes from spending time listening to each mother's thoughts, imagining their families, and putting my heart and soul into creating the jewelry.

I also hope to share the experiences of mothers—their thoughts on pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding—with new mothers. We hope that, as creators of partner jewelry, we can not only craft beautiful pieces but also be a constant source of support and encouragement for mothers
